My Story

I feel especially blessed to have been given the gift of voice and songwriting, a gift that I believe should be shared. It is my privilege to discover that other people enjoy it as well. My calling to sing and write songs has been with me for as long as I can remember, and I have found great pleasure in honing my craft. Please walk with me as I travel the path that has brought me to the present.
Within months after completing my Bachelor's Degree in music education with a major in voice and piano, I was offered a position with a transient musical group that traveled throughout the United States (including Hawaii) and Canada. Viewing this as an opportunity of a lifetime, I accepted the position. This was to be the beginning of a long and beautiful journey.
As I performed with countless musicians across the country, I gradually developed my own vocal stylings and keyboard expressions. Between performances, as we traveled from state to state, I spent my time writing songs. I kept a continual diary of songs, never dreaming this would become a valuable resource in my future.
As my musical development evolved, I gradually became increasingly independent; playing bass with my left hand, keyboard with my right hand, while fronting the band vocally. As technology soared in my favor, my show eventually turned solo. I was fortunate in that the excellent response to my show resulted in offers that afforded me the luxury of selecting the venue of my choice. I chose the Virgin Islands, where I performed to large audiences from all over the world. It was then that I began to realize the appeal of my original material, as my own songs were frequently requested.
I have since focused my efforts on the production of Cd's: "soulmate", which was recorded live, and "Blind Faith", which is a studio recording. As my customer base continues to expand with favorable response to these albums, through my website as well as my performances, I find great enjoyment, satisfaction, and encouragement in following this path.
